Application Instructions
1. Surface & Crack Preparation
Clean the target surface thoroughly and remove all structural dust, dirt, or loose plaster flakes before application.
Hairline cracks must be mechanically widened to a minimum width of 1 mm using a scraping tool to ensure proper paste penetration.
For external masonry surfaces, remove all biological growth, loose sand, or debris to expose a clean plaster surface.
2. Priming
Apply a single primer coat on porous masonry surfaces.
Use a diluted mixture made of Crack-X Paste and water in a 1:1 proportion by volume over the prepared groove before full filling.
3. Paste Application & Curing
Press Dr. Fixit 201 Crack-X Paste firmly into the widened crack using a putty knife or trowel.
Allow an initial setting time of 24 hours before applying a second layer, if required.
For the ultimate cured result, allow the filled area to cure completely for 7 days before proceeding with final decorative painting.
