Application Instructions
1. Surface Preparation
Remove all loose adhering material from the plaster using a wire brush.
Pre-wet the wall surface with water prior to application. For walls directly exposed to the sun, ensure sufficient water spraying to dissipate heat away from the surface.
2. Mixing & Paste Preparation
Mix TruCare Wall Putty with 40%–50% water by weight to form a smooth, homogeneous paste.
Allow the prepared paste to mature (slake) for 10–15 minutes.
Mix the paste again briefly for 2–3 minutes before application.
3. Putty Application
Apply the first coat of the mixture smoothly using a putty knife or trowel.
Allow the first coat to dry completely for a minimum of 4 hours.
Pre-wet the surface lightly again, then apply the second coat.
Note: If the mixed putty paste is left undisturbed for more than 30 minutes, remix it well before applying.
4. Priming & Topcoat
For an exceptionally smooth texture, use fine emery paper to sand the dry surface.
Always apply a high-quality primer (such as AP TruCare Primer) directly over the finished putty layer to secure a strong paint film bond before applying 2 to 3 coats of your chosen topcoat.
